First of all, in the lower left corner is a small image of my avatar.
Please adjust your screen brightness and contrast until you can't
see it anymore to ensure you see it the way I intended it to be.
I breathe deep and drown my lungs and release silently.
So, like it or not, it's me in there holding a x-ray photograph of my
collapsed lung. I'm not sure, but it's from the 2nd time it collapsed
as far as I remember. In case you don't know about lung collapsing
and such I suggest having a look at [link] and get yourself prepared
if you fit in the criteria of being tall and skinny like I do.
Made a few adjustments to the tone and contrast to get the look of it
As I already told you, I find this image to be very touching.
It's dark and everything, but there's a light coming off of you
like you're not afraid any more. Sure you may be afraid of it
happening, but you're not so deathly afraid as perhaps you
once were.
The fact that you're looking at your own x-ray gives off kind
of the same feeling as I mentioned above. Most people
might have held the x-ray by the sides and stare at it.
Instead, it looks almost like you're cradling it, or embracing
it.
I hope you never have to go through this again, sweety. I
don't know what I'd do.

At first I didn't change my settings and I saw you standing there holding an xray being sad about it. Then as I adjusted my monitor you blended away and the xray popped out. I realized it wasn't about you holding it or letting it get the best of you, but that it was just something that happened. Not to dismiss the severity of it at all. I love the concept and the execution. You never cease to amaze me when I really really listen to what you are trying to say.

ouch, im sorry to hear about your lung!
The picture is really good and a great idea, but maybe the x-ray could've been held up a little higher to be in line with your actual ribcage? cause as it is, it looks a little too south-ish. But if it hurts too much then obviously you should just ignore me
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

She thought that his vocabulary was as bad as, like, whatever.
It would be cool if you manipped this also - and put a polaroid frame around the whole thing - like a picture holding a picture, holding a picture...
